established in 1989

Many moons ago, Beck from Patchogue, Long Island, NY, and Matt from Irvington, NJ used their wedding money to open up a small store.  After having 4 children, they noticed a need for a place that carried baby & children's furniture.  A few years later, they then opened a larger store that specialized in nursery furniture & children's bedroom furniture. Kids Bedroom Gallery soon developed a reputation for carrying well-made furniture offered at reasonable prices, and backed by exceptional customer service. 

A second generation of family members now operate their huge 11,000 square foot showroom, combined with New Jersey Cribs, which displays over 100 nursery and kids' bedroom collections  the most bedroom sets displayed under one roof than anywhere else in the state of New Jersey. Over 200,000 people now sleep on beds purchased from our family business, and we would love to add you to our growing list of satisfied customers.

Matt Sr. [ the dad ]

Who knows where we would be without this man.  Back in the 80s when waterbeds were all the rage, Matt's savvy business mind & wedding monies were all he needed to get his first store up and running.  Over the course of many decades, even through recessions and pandemics and everything else the world has thrown our way, Matt transformed his self-made company into all that it is today -  New Jersey's largest children's furniture store! As a US Coast Guard Veteran and a loving family man, he treats everyone that walks through the door like family and he raised his children to walk in his footsteps and do just the same!  He has always prided himself on training all of our staff  with "no-pressure" sales ethics and just wants everyone who walks through our doors to feel informed, educated and comfortable when making such an important purchase at such an exciting time in their life.

Becki [ the mama ]

As a dedicated mother of 4, Becki's ability to multi-task and manage the daily business operations make her our super hero!   After dedicating years of her life to the growth and success of our company, she now gets to proudly watch as 2 of her children (her eldest daughter Rae & her youngest son Matt Jr.) run the business.  Despite that, you will still often find her in the showroom on busy weekends helping out our customers and lending out her professional opinion on many things that often times overwhelm first time mothers.  She's been there before too, and now she has made it her goal in life to make it so much easier for everyone else to make educated and well-informed decisions.

Rae [ the daughter ]

Rae (AKA Rae Rae) is a multi-talented woman who is extremely passionate about helping others and it is evident in the way she interacts with everyone who supports our family business.  She is not just our Customer Care Manager and the one who helped us build-up our sister company New Jersey Cribs, but she is also a holistic childbirth educator and doula who continues to help countless families welcome their new additions to the world by helping them furnish and create the nursery of their dreams.  She is also our company's Interior Decorator who has transformed our family's store into a beautiful and welcoming space & her favorite part of the job is getting to help YOU turn your pinterest board dreams into a reality.  Even after one quick conversation with our Rae Rae you'll know exactly why it's so easy to love her! Matt Jr. [ the son ]

Matt has quickly become an integral part of our showroom & daily operations ever since he got out of the US Coast Guard (just like his Dad). He has a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in helping customers find what they need as our Store & Sales Manager.  His friendly and approachable personality makes him a hit with customers, and his extensive knowledge on all that we sell has helped our store grow immensely.  Matt Jr. has become an essential part of our team and our customers love getting to pick his brain and hear his professional opinions.

Matt H. [the cousin]

Because having two Matts in the showroom wasn't confusing enough, we recently added in a third! Our cousin Matt H. is one of our newest hires as our family business continues to grow & flourish.  Weekends have gotten busier and busier at our showroom and the need for a third salesperson was an absolute must and we are so unbelievably grateful that he has decided to join the team. His sharp mind, attention to detail, and ability to make all of our customers feel welcome is one of the many reasons we love having him aboard!

James [the best friend]

James is the only person in our organization who is not officially connected to us by blood (unless we can get him to marry one of our sisters one day, haha). But as Matt Jr's lifelong best friend since kindergarten, James has always felt like family and truly "a brother from another mother". He first joined our business several years ago working in our service department, assisting with deliveries, transfers, service issues as well as customer updates. This man truly knows the business from the inside out, as well as all of the ups & downs. He keeps on moving up in the company and is now one of our top salesmen as he works alongside Matt Jr. whenever he is not coaching football. His sense of humor, personability, action-oriented mentality, and clever ideas have made him an invaluable part of our team and we are so grateful that our customers get to experience him inside of our showroom now, too.

Jeremy [ the brother ]

Jeremy, Becki's younger brother and Rae's godfather, is the "wizard behind the curtain" at Baby & Kids Bedroom Gallery. He is truly a man who wears many hats and his presence in this family business is what helps keep things running smoothly.  Whether it's calling you to let your know your order is for pick-up or helping you through any service issues that you may have, Jeremy runs the warehouse and all of our ordering and basically handles everything behind the scenes to ensure that everything runs smoothly after a sale has been made.
